For the next month I’m participating in Susannah Conway’s August Break – kind of a summer vacation for my blog. I’ll be taking and posting an image a day (in the tradition of my westeast diptychs on flickr) and writing nothing more than a title.

Simplifying my online writing and photo musings will give me time to work on a couple side projects that I’ve been wanting to devote my undivided attention. It’s a virtual vacation… but I fully intend to embrace the image I have in my head – me sitting in an adirondack chair in front of a cabin by a lake in the woods creating away.
